You forgot to mention the hand break on the GT vs the foot break on the
    city mini. 😉

Do both of these go to a double with a snap on rumble like the city select?

I hate living in Australia. I just got the City Mini (four wheeler) for
$499 as I wasn’t willing to pay $699 for the GT.. So unfair! lol

In Sweden the price for GT $639.81 and City Mini $469.15 it sucks!

Just getting in to this baby stuff, videos like this make life easier!
Looks like the GT for us…

i received the 2011 model city mini double and we love it. it is amazing
how small it is compared to how small it looks. i do need the belly bar and
like everyone says, the basket underneath is useless but it is so easy to
use besides that! we also have the car seat attachment, baby is not born
yet, but i can already see that i will never use it. just too much effort
to attach and breakdown every time i am in and out of the van. I do love
that it fully reclines and the shade is perfect

Why would somebody “dislike” this video?? I guess they think the
thumbs-down is the download button! Nincompoops!! 🙂

thanks again Hollie! one more question for you, about the recline in the
seat: one thing that drove me crazy about a previous stroller is the seat
would not sit up straight, do the newer models have a straighter back when
    fully upright?

Great review! Thank you for doing the side by side, saved me a lot of
    research!! Love my Gizmo videos!!

This was very helpful! Thank you so much for this video. I’m getting the GT.

  23. ccmathiassen October 1, 2014 at 5:47 pm #

great comparison, thanks! could you please tell me whether the GT also has
that strap at the back that allows the seat to be pulled forward so the
child can sit in a much straighter position? thanks very much!

  24. Crystal Rothhaar October 1, 2014 at 6:20 pm #

No they do not, the City Mini does have the strap that helps the child sit
more upright, the GT does not. If your child is older and wants to sit more
upright, you can readjust the harness to be a lap belt instead of a harness
with shoulder straps and buy the belly bar. The kids can pull themselves up
on the bar and sit with their shoulders forward. The 2011 and 2012 City
Mini also has a PE board, which the models before 2010 do not have (you
could buy the board separately for the older models)
