Great, lightweight umbrella stroller, August 15, 2014

Great, lightweight umbrella stroller! Very intuitive and stylish design. Easy to put together. Love all the useful extras (cup holder, hooks, etc)! Someone put a lot of thought into the design and construction of this stroller. I have it in Moonless Night and its perfect for either gender. Adjustable straps will make this my go-to stroller for a while as my 5 month old continues to grow.

This is very nice stroller with useful features. The wheels are quality hard plastic the roll smoothly, making it easy to push. I have another lightweight folding stroller with wheels that are not as robust or nice and this Baby Cargo version is much nicer to push. One thing I was very excited about was the included infant positioner that make is useable with newborns. I have put my 2 month old in it and it works pretty well. The lowest shoulder strap holes are a little high for him, and I had to take the strap pads off so they didn’t cover his face, but it works. The seat recline has an easy one hand squeeze mechanism which is very convenient. My other (cheaper) lightweight stroller uses a drawstring, which is not very easy to do. This stroller also has an adjustable leg rest, which I’ve never seen before. It is nice for small babies to keep their legs up with they are in the reclined position. I’m very happy with the sun shade on this stoller as well, because it extends pretty far down to cover baby when you are walking into a low set sun. My old stroller’s sun shade was pretty short. It also comes with a rain cover, which is pretty nice if you remember to bring it with you. The folding mechanism seems pretty easy, which is important in a stroller. When folded, you can still “push” it on rolling wheels if you want. It also has a nice carrying strap for use when folded. It “locks” closed if you just push it together enough for the piece on the side to catch the pin. No other motion is necessary. To open, you just pull the clip out on the side to release. Weight wise, it certainly weighs more than a little umbrella stroller, but is comparable to other lightweight full featured strollers like this one. All in all, this stroller seems pretty high quality and a good lower priced alternative to similar “prestige” brand strollers.
